Handwoven tapestry – woven at 8 warps per inch on cotton warp.

Materials – cotton, linen, rayon, wool.

Size – 64 x 63cm (included painted wooden frame)

A tapestry based on a small watercolour and oil pastel painting from Jo’s sketchbook exploring repetition found on the Sand O’ Wright beach in Hoxa: pebbles, limpets and scattered edges of waves. Shapes and lines have been explored with varied weft thicknesses and depths of tufting, creating a low relief effect.
